What do we do with personal data?

The data that is provided by registrants on this site is used to compile a publicly available profile, and to ensure that eligibility and conditions of registration are met.

What do we do when someone contacts us?

We do not generally keep email or other contact details of inquirers to the register, unless there is a need to follow up with additional information.

In all cases retention and storage of any data complies with the guiding principals of Data Protection Legislation.  Anyone may apply at any time to the register for details of any information that we hold about them.  The current fee for providing copies of any such information is £10:00 - click here to visit the Information Commissioners web site.  The Data Protection Act gives you the right to know what information is held about you, and sets out rules to make sure that this information is handled properly.
