Vidyut is a CBT/REBT Therapist, EMDR Practitioner, Supervisor and a trained Trauma Therapist with over 15 years of experience of working with different cultures and client groups. She incorporates Solution Focused and Multimodal Therapies with CBT in her work. She speaks Hindi and Marathi and understands Gujarati, Urdu, Punjabi and Bengali.

Vidyut works with individuals, couples, groups, families and organisations.

She works with issues such as road traffic accidents, industrial accidents, rape, murder, attempted suicide, stabbings, self harm, torture, domestic violence, redundancies, bomb attacks (e.g. 07/07), major rail/air accidents, childhood and adulthood abuse, and robberies.

She is a Supervisor to other supervisors and therapists. Her supervision work includes supervising staff working with particularly difficult cases e.g. probation staff who work with sexual offenders, psychologists/social workers/probation staff working in medium/high secure prisons.

Vidyut is co-Director of Gem Executive Coaching Ltd.
